The room was well-appointed with an ironing set, coffee/tea making facilities and a work desk.
Good home base for travelling to Knaresborough and exploring local places. Traditional building and rooms with cosy decoration. Marvellous, fantastic location close to town centre. And near train station, the river and the boats, and other nearby attractions.

Comfortable room with excellent Wi-Fi access.
It was frustrating that the room was situated in the loft, as it made access uncomfortably difficult. The quaint nature of the cottage may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

Waterside Cottage serves a good continental breakfast packed with fresh fruits and cereals. The hosts Anita and John go above and beyond. Being just a hop away from The Half Moon Free House. This spot is a culinary gold mine.
While we loved everything about the place, those with impaired mobility should know that access to the loft is a bit of a challenge, given its quaint character. But honestly, the charm of the cottage more than makes up for it.
